CAD/CAM dentistry

CAD/CAM dentistry is a field of dentistry and prosthodontics using CAD/CAM (computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing) to improve the design and creation of dental restorations,[1][2] especially dental prostheses, including crowns, bridges, veneers, inlays and on lays, fixed bridges, dental implant restorations, dentures (removable or fixed), and orthodontic appliances. CAD/CAM complements earlier technologies used for these purposes by any combination of increasing the speed of design and creation; increasing the convenience or simplicity of the design, creation, and insertion processes; and making possible restorations and appliances that otherwise would have been infeasible. CAD/CAM is one of the highly competent dental lab technologies․

our scanner

Identica Hybrid is a precise, fast, accurate and reliable scanner.  It's offers a 3-axis scanning arm for auto-double impression scanning.  It also comes with  flexible multi-die and triple camera color scan technology.

Identica Hybrid's scan accuracy is regularly tested at ±7μm (ISO 12836) with a standard deviation of only ±2μm, guaranteeing  high quality scans every time.

our millimng machine

CORiTEC 350i is a novel machine concept which  has been developed to  meets all modern requirements for CAD/CAM processing. The processing of all relevant blank materials from CoCr, titanium, zirconium dioxide, plastics, block materials, and new future materials is thus possible with this single machine system, virtually without restrictions.
The modern and optimized machine kinematics, with high free angles of the 5 axes of over 30°, allows milling and grinding in wet and dry processing in high quality.

Technical highlights

  • 5-axis simultaneous processing
  • Integrated wet and dry processing
  • Processing of all important materials used in the dental industry, including metalworking
  • Axis tilt angle up to 30°
  • HF spindle with up to 60,000 rpm
  • Integrated control PC with touch screen
  • Frontal machining of the workpiece possible
    (B-axis in 90 degree position)
